Nitrox Instructor

TDI Nitrox Instructor is an entry level course for instructors wishing to teach enriched air nitrox as a breathing gas. Little else has impacted recreational diving more than the introduction of nitrox, allowing more time underwater. During this course, instructors learn the benefits, hazards and proper procedures for teaching EAN 22 to EAN 40.

Nitrox Instructor Course Prerequisites: Minimum age 18, minimum certification as an SDI Open Water Scuba Diver Instructor or the equivalent, certified as basic nitrox diver, may be combined with instructor program

Qualification of graduates

Upon successful completion of this course, graduates can teach diving using mixtures from EAN22 to EAN40. Course graduates are eligible to enroll in the following TDI Advanced Nitrox Instructor and Decompression Procedures Instructor courses
