This mid-level Continuing Education Program is designed to enable IANTD Open Water Divers to extend their proficiency in the water and to gain more supervised practical experience.
The purpose of this program is to qualify a diver to dive to a maximum depth of 30 msw. After successful completion, ability to enroll in the IANTD Rescue Diver Course
1. Certification requirements: Must be a qualified IANTD Open Water Diver or equivalent.
2. Age requirement:
a. A minimum of 15 years of age for Diver qualification with a parent or guardian authorization, OR
b. A minimum or 18 years of age without guardian approval.
Jr. Advanced Open Water Diver - Students between 10 years of age and 14 years of age who meet
the advanced open water diver performance requirements may qualify for a Jr. Advanced Open Water
Diver certification that allows them to dive under the sup
This program must include: Academic Classes and Open Water Dives.
The Program must include: A minimum of 120 minutes of OW bottom time. The Program may be completed within four (4) SCUBA dives..
I. One (1) dive must be to between 24 msw and 30 msw;
II. One (1) dive must be a Specialized Dive;
III. Two (2) dive must be Navigation Dives: Natural Navigation and Compass Navigation.
NOTE: For Jr. Advanced Open Water Diver with ages of 10-11 years old, the maximum depth is 21 msw.
The cost of the Advanced Open Water Diver course is 16500 rubles.
The price includes: theory in the classroom, theoretical exam, dives and examination dives in open water at Lake Baikal, certification.
Not included: rental of personal equipment.
